I am here you know 

Do not turn away and ignore my sorrow 

I am here waiting to be loved by someone 

I am not choosy anyone will do.

I wish I could say what I wanted to say 

Life has not been all that fair to me 

People have kicked me and hit me 

Most times have kept me at bay.

What is my fault really?

Just that I'm a little hungry 

Give me a little food and water 

To keep me alive a little longer.

I forgive everyone for the way they look at me
